USER AGREEMENT – BOOK WORM

Welcome to Book Worm (BOOKWORM.PAGE). This User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your access to and use of Book Worm, including any content, features, and future services offered through the Website.
By creating an account or using Book Worm, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you may not use the Website.

1. Overview of Services
Book Worm provides a platform for users to discover, track, and ultimately access digital books.
· Current Service: Books listed on Book Worm are currently purchased through an outside vendor (e.g., a third-party ebook retailer). Book Worm does not process payments or fulfill book purchases directly.
· Future Service: Book Worm intends to introduce a feature allowing users to purchase the right to read books directly on the Website (“On-Site Reading Rights”). When available, that feature will be governed by additional terms provided at that time.

2. Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Book Worm.

3. Purchases Through Outside Vendors
All current purchases of books are made via third-party vendors. Book Worm:
· Does not handle payment, shipping, or delivery;
· Does not store your payment method for external purchases;
· Is not responsible for the vendor’s pricing, return policies, or digital rights management.
When you click a purchase link, you leave Book Worm and enter into a separate agreement with the outside vendor. You should review that vendor’s terms and privacy policy before completing any transaction.

4. Future On‑Site Reading Rights
When Book Worm introduces on‑site reading, the following will apply:
· You may purchase a “Reading Right” which grants you non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable permission to read the book only on Book Worm’s website (not downloadable).
· Reading Rights are tied to your Book Worm account and do not expire unless your account is terminated for breach of this Agreement.
· You may not copy, distribute, or print the book content.
· Pricing, refunds, and technical requirements for on‑site reading will be disclosed at the time of purchase.
Note: Until Book Worm activates the on‑site reading feature, no Reading Rights are offered or sold.

5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
· Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access book content;
· Share, sell, or transfer your Reading Rights to another person;
· Attempt to bypass technological measures protecting book files;
· Use Book Worm for any illegal purpose.

6. Intellectual Property
All book previews, cover images, and third-party book content remain the property of their respective rights holders. Book Worm’s original website code, design, and logo are owned by Book Worm. You may not reproduce or distribute Book Worm’s platform content without permission.

7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate this Agreement. Upon termination, any purchased Reading Rights (if the future feature is then active) will be revoked without refund. Purchases made through outside vendors are governed by their terms.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Book Worm is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error‑free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
· Book Worm is not liable for any issues arising from your transactions with outside vendors;
· Our total liability for any claim related to the Website (including future on‑site reading) shall not exceed the amount you paid Book Worm for Reading Rights in the prior 6 months (or $10 if no such purchases).

9. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be notified via email or a website notice.

10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to conflict of laws principles.
